Intro

TheBundle is a complex machine, generally following the installation steps posted into the deviation descriptions make it works...

but sometimes the enviroment of your pc is incompatible cause you have something that prevent TheBundle run correctly...

How i can check TheBundle is working fine?

Generally u can assume TheBundle is working fine when:
- it isn't terribily slow (this could happens if you loaded mixed extension with it making the stuff crash)
- you should be able to enter into settings (green wrench icon), modify and save them succefully
- when you see the list of all user into the channel with the flags
- when you see some other usernames into the channel in blue and your user is blue and glowing yellow (see pic below)

See what you can do if it isn't working

So let's check together this list:

Firefox:

do you have the latest version of Mozilla Firefox? (20 or greater)
do you have the latest version of GreaseMonkey? (1.8 or greater)
in case you have dAmn xpcom extension for firefox please disable/remove it, is needingless nowadays and you can use damn.ws by photofroggy that is better and fully compatible with TheBundle

Chrome:

do you have the latest version of Chrome?
are you sure you are running the script installed into TamperMonkey and not the Chrome itself? Some user reported chrome blocked the installation, this clearly means that you are installing the script via the normal Chrome userscript engine -> you must install the script into TamperMonkey!

---

are you sure you haven't any other extensions or scripts that are preventing you to run TheBundle?

maybe you have NoScript... well in this case it's pretty clear why your script won't run... please try disabling temporarly NoScript extension... in the case if you are skilled with it just whitelist the GreaseMonkey scripts and the domain linuxd.org

do you have other userscripts installed? try disabling them all temporarly, see if TheBundle loads properly... if so re-enable your script back one at time to check if all works fine, you will find easily the incompatibility in this way

TheBundle makes you able to load superdAmn via DLS (script) section, if you also run superdAmn from GreaseMonkey / TamperMonkey them will conflict eachother... you can't run 2 superdAmn at once! So please decide if you want run it into DLS or GreaseMonkey / TamperMonkey but NOT BOTH!!

Regarding possible slowness issues

Please check if you aren't running too much stuff together with the bundle, if you use other extensions or userscripts even if them works fine could be possible some of them interact in a bad way with The Bundle making all the things being slowed down.

Consider also join lot of chatrooms (even empty or less populated rooms take some resources), running tons of tabs or windows with the browser is not a nice idea..

Please take also in mind that if your base computer is already slow (poor resources, full of stuff, virus and crap of various kind) you can't expect to have it run like a rocket with TheBundle open because it's not it's fault... is your computer that is slow and maybe need a good format/reinstall :eyes:

For Chrome users: Right-click on the download link, Click "Save Link As" And then save it somewhere. Go to Extensions in Chrome, And drag it there. Hit Yes/OK, And Badda-BING, Badda-BOOM, Badda-BAM!
